  1. That could either fix everything or cost somebody their job.
  2. Mustard? Never seen a hollandaise recipe with mustard in it, you learn something new every day.
  3. As per my previous post DM is sent, the ball is in your court.
  4. You want evidence? Sure sit with me and I will show you exactly where every cent comes from. Every cent. I will ask you to show me the work that has been completed and paid for in the area by SANParks. Then go and ask the same of SANParks. Just because a government department says something on a website doesn't make it true. And just in case you miss this I will be sending you a DM with this offer, just to make sure there isn't any confusion.
  5. Mate there is so much wrong with this. I realise it isn't out of malice but it is incorrect. SANParks put in neither money or labour on the trails and will watch them fall into disrepair and close them before putting money, time or effort into them. Nobody at Tokaimtb is claiming it is their facility.
  6. The answer is not a cent of SANParks money goes into building or maintaining the cycle tracks. Nothing. If you believe their website and comms is misleading then please take it up with them.
  7. Who is Candy and what was she arrested for?
  8. Liverpool lose all their central defenders for the entire season, the new striker out for a significant stretch, the new midfielder for months and the first choice keeper is out for a good chunk of the season (and appears to have been on the booze when he returns) and when they struggle its down to tactics. But when City struggled last season it was down to Laporte being injured according to the commentators.
  9. Apart from a bunch of league titles, European cups, super cups and the world club cup?
  10. Why should crappy parents be the responsibility of a games company?
  11. Also rubbish. Marcus Rashford is good but the most valuable player in the world? Oh please...
  12. Sun dry them and you can use them at your leisure as they will basically last forever.
  13. Latest update from local area management is that the trails remain open at the moment but they are awaiting feedback from senior management.
  14. There is nothing official yet but as they are 'access controlled' they should, according to what has been published, be open. Will update as soon as we hear anything official.
  15. The best team lost. Again...
  16. I can't say what the legal position is but when I had to travel to clients extensively the understanding was that the first trip out (from home) and the return home at the end of the day were seen as being on your own time and like a normal commute to the office and back. All other trips in between we could claim for fuel. In our case looking after the vehicle was our own responsibility as part of the employment conditions was to own and maintain a reliable vehicle. My best guess is that if something is not written into your contract you may be stuck with looking after all vehicle related issues yourself.
  17. As most of the guys have said it is best to avoid riding around that area at the moment. Tokai was suggested and has a few beginner friendly trails - Fairy Garden, Your Roots and Lizard are all green graded and will be fine for a beginner and if you are feeling confident then the blue graded Vasbyt and Boomslang are good with no unavoidable obstacles. Load up Trailforks on your phone to help you find your way around the trails. https://www.trailforks.com/region/tokai-forest-mtb-trails/ As per Duane the greenbelt is a good beginner territory. https://www.trailforks.com/region/constantia-greenbelt-17002/ Another recomendation would be to spend a day at the Bike Park at Uitsig, you will learn a lot while having fun. https://bikeparkatuitsig.co.za/gallery/
  18. I spent a ridiculous amount of time on that game many years back
  19. If I remember correctly it has been once this season prior to the games this weekend that the ref stuck with his original decision.
  20. You don't need the activity card for running or hiking. I'm not sure of the rules regarding swimming in the dam but lots of people do swim in there and as far as I know nobody has been in trouble for it. Again you wouldn't need an activity card.
  21. Sorry I forgot to get back about this. I am told that Silvermine parking is open now.
  22. Park management have been under a spotlight and are having considerable pressure put on them to up their game by the task teams set up by minister Creasy. It would be nice to think that those groups are having an effect.
  23. 'Women and children first' comes to mind, ship sinking, building on fire etc.
