  1. My, highly unreliable, memory recalls an interview with the actress where she indicated that scene in the dungeon was the last we would see of her. That said they don't always tell the truth.
  2. Yeah what are these lunatics doing chatting about a TV show on a thread about TV shows...
  3. Went the opposite way in my house Me - "Do you want a coffee dear?" Wife (said with a growling menace I have never heard before) - "You can't pause now you idiot" *The actual word used may not have been idiot...
  4. Three episodes left, how the hell do they top that?
  5. My pet theory on that is they have a lower budget and end when the cash runs out. Whatever the actual reason it seems to work. Recently watched 'River', six episodes with a proper ending. Happy.
  6. Posted by a Southampton fan and liked by a Spurs fan. The irony...
  7. That's true. My step son turned into an Arsenal supporter overnight a few years ago (possibly just to annoy me). He now wears his Arsenal shirt every time they play. He also hand washes it because I am not having that in the washing machine that I paid for.
  8. Fans yes but the players? Not so much in my opinion. Unless they were born in the area and grew up understanding the rivalry my money is on it being just another game to them. The fans making the stadium into a jungle might lift them but not some hatred of another club.
  9. How you feel about VAR is very much going to be influenced on whether it gives the decision you want or not. The Anfield Wrap, who have generally been quite dead set against it, even included it in their match ratings last night after it gave overturned an offside leading to a goal - Ref Bot: 10 Had a blinder, didn’t it? Kept its nerve when every other f****r had frazzled theirs and lashed them in the bin. Won’t have a word said against the little A.I. pervert.
  10. I know, it's been ten minutes between goals. I'm bored.
  11. Pass it to Bobby, pass it to Bobby, pass it to Bobby,oh...
  12. Don't curse it you lunatic
  13. If you enjoyed that get onto Line of Duty right now. Made by the same people and very popular.
  14. Your lawyers need to chat to the guys over at Man City...
  15. And Puff Adder is bi-directional too, tiny as it is. For many years the bi-directional trails were restricted to Fairy Garden, Your Roots, Vasbyt (Including the Bluegums section), Boulders and Puff Adder. The Snake Trails, DH line and Switchbacks have been single direction for a long time. Vasbyt was changed to down only for a few reasons, visibility (as you mentioned), the higher speeds being carried down there and, rather crucially, there is no way to exit now without crossing the DH line or climbing the berm at the top because the old exit route has been reclaimed and fenced of by the adjacent wine farm.
  16. It has a bit of a 'Kenny back to Liverpool' whiff to it. First half season goes well because the players are just happy the previous idiot is out the door, reality tends to set in during the second season. I'm personally looking forward to Ole doing what he did at Cardiff which involved buying a bunch of players from Molde, via a dodgy agent that spends a lot of time in court defending his business practices (and purely coincidentally happens to be Ole'e best buddy and co-owner of a joint business venture or two), only for said players to barely see the pitch because they are a bit rubbish.
  17. What did he do this time?
  18. If you could win the middle of the three games that would be nice.
  19. Difficult one to answer, choice would probably be dictated by which you had been least successful in for the previous few years. So it would probably, just by a hair, be the league. Right up until the day of the CL final... That said most people seem to have forgotten that it should be about the journey not just the destination. If you have fun along the way who really cares. Liverpool lost in the CL final last year but the journey there was brilliant, but for some reason opposing fans seem to think all the good stuff was wiped away in that single game. It wasn't.
  20. The lead has been whittled down for sure but bottled? No. Record points haul for the club, one defeat all season don't point to bottling. Current points haul betters six of the last nine seasons and shows progress. If Liverpool hit a points tally in the 90 plus area, something very few teams have ever managed, how can that be seen as bottling it? This 'bottling' thing is a ridiculous social media construct. To handle the champions league like Liverpool you just need to convince your team to go fully bonkers and emotional.
  21. Surely then the fact that the last 16 has only one Italian team, predictably it is Juventus, and the quarters may not have any as things stand trying to use this this to argue that the iIalian league has strength in depth is not really going to work.? Edit - it's actually two teams but I can't count...
  22. Ah so a defeat for Juventus is a stumble but a draw for Liverpool is 'bottling it'.
  23. This has made my day.
  24. Three. .
  25. Double post. This is what happens when you believe Rain can offer you actual 4G...
