  4. So here I am, jumping on the wagon. Had a terrible year with regard to trainig and eating habits. I gained a sh#t ton of weight, from 82kg to 98.8kg. Feel the strain on my knees when running, so it is time for change. I started with 16/8 fasting, cutting alcohol, moving to whole food. As time moves on, I will move over to 18/6 fasting, adding a few days with whole food plant based (no click baiting). Any other inputs perhaps?
  5. Perhaps vented towards you for not being happy with his life, maybe had a fallout with said wife/girlfriend/skelmpie/alternatively had an excess of testosterone and had a gorilla breast banging experience, or her face covering was because of erectile disfuntion, he was angry, she was ashamed. Anyhow, glad nobody got hurt, except for his fragile ego.
  6. I finished watching ZS-Justice league????, awesome way of spending 4hours.Not being a big DC fan, Zack Snyder made a HUGELY, diabolical change from the Whedon cut. Loads of new scenes, characters that brings the story in line and makes a bit less deurmekaar. Really awesome????????
  7. Just want to give HUGE thumbs up and thanks to Cycle Addict in Oudtshoorn for their assistance. We came to Oudties for the week (long story), and found that we left our watch chargers at home (for running). We hoped to find a extra charger cable for sale, but alas, no cables. The people then went that extra bit to help us, found one of their friends/customers that have a charger, who in turn borrowed us his cable charger to charge our watches. Hospitality and friendliness of the highest standards, thank you very much.
  8. What usually works for me, Bottle with Bcaa's during training, espresso shot before training, just make sure you had a light snack (PB on appleslices/provita) earlier to avoid that mid afternoon slump
  9. I have a question regarding running clubs. We are in process of relocating to Oudtshoorn, what running clubs are available in the area? We are currently part of a awesome, sociable club. Who else are staying in Oudtshoorn, and what is the road running scene like?
  10. Being a complete noob at multisport, I found this to be very helpful. Training sessions during the week, and events over weekends. Did the Zwift thing, burned one hell of a hole in my pocket, got the Tron, had the fun, but yes, it becomes a bit stale. https://app.ironmanvirtualclub.com/en/dashboard
  11. What a crappy year, but it was incident free, and I am thankful for that.
  12. https://www.netflix.com/za/title/80211991?preventIntent=true Finished season 1,kinda like a mixture between Dexter & 50 shades of grey.
  13. Looking for freshly roasted beans in Gauteng? Found a Roastery/supplier near me, turns out that one of the guys is in our morning runner's group. Awesome setup, "Coffee excellence" is the name of the Roastery
  14. I know i'm taking a long shot here, but I am looking for a replacement portafilter for my Breville cafe venezia (Bes250), in particular the little insert, as well as the tool, and a 50mm tamper. I tried @home,who sells Breville, but no luck/no stock, so I am trying my luck, maybe someone has a broken machine with parts????‍♂️

  19. Nope, big suprise there. I had a 1.8m marine aquarium a few years back, it is a money pit. You have supplements, replacement of lights(for the corals), salt for water changes, replacement filters for the RO unit. Nice to have, but be prepared to spend BIG TIME. there is a forum for aquarium lovers, www.marineaquariumsa.co.za
  20. let me take a guess, Forks over knives documentary?
