  1. For me the beauty of SRAM is the 10 tooth cog which allows you to run a small i.e. 32 tooth chainring and have almost the same top end as someone running a 36 tooth chainring with a 11 tooth cog. Throw in the 50 tooth granny gear of the Eagle cassette and you've got top end and enough gears to climb up pretty much anything. Yes GX Eagle does not shift as criply and quietly as XX1 but at the price is it really fair to expect it to?
  2. GX Eagle is all about the range, with a bit of a compromise on quality. If range is not an issue then XT. Very happy with my GX Eagle though.
  3. Uh....this already exists, it's called a 29'er.
  4. There have been issues with these rims cracking at the spoke holes. They are usually warrantied without much fuss.
  5. I think he actually meant Pilots License.
  6. Are these 2018 models or 2019?
  7. Nah, but Self Driving E-Bikes maybe.........
  8. Correct they don't but your lbs can order from them.
  9. Rush Sports are agents and stock a wide range of Wheels Manufacturing BB's as well as replacement bearings for them.
  10. Have a look at the Wheels Manufacturing website for a BB that will fit your frame and crank and then ask your lbs to order one for you.
  11. What about sticking a Shockwiz on and seeing what it says about your settings?
  12. I've seen many youngsters doing this. Certainly the most cost effective.
  13. At a rough count of mountain bikes, pretty much the same amount
  14. I might be wrong but I don't think that there is any adjustment.
  15. Not to mention the brand new frame that just sold for R10k. Still a bit heartsore that I missed out on it.
  16. Pretty sure that minute particles of dust can also get into the system past the pistons in the caliper as they move in and out whilst braking.
  17. Although there may not be one optimum cadence for all, I do believe that most people are not riding at their optimum cadence and instead tend to push heavy gears at a much lower cadence.
  18. I reckon the benefit of this vs a Cameback must be weight distribution.
  19. Anyone here using a Bikeyoke Revive dropper? I see Evobikes are selling them and I have read some pretty good reviews online.
  20. Waterbottle mounts on the downtube though!!!!
  21. You beat me to it. Tubeless is the way to go and the AC Argents are awesome.
  22. To have the two races on the same weekend must have been a nightmare for the organizers. I imagine that they would hardly have had any sleep the entire weekend.
  23. Which of the 2 looked like they knew what they were doing?
  24. Bar ends and handlebar tape on the area near the stem. I suppose when you are spending that much time on the bike comfort is crucial.
