Probably around the R80k range with SRAM Eagle I would guess. I think the framesets would be around R40k. Also curious to see though. I would’ve seriously been in the market for one if I didn’t love my Hyrax so much. Probably one of the issues of building such quality bikes in lower volumes - if you build them so good, the bike might outlast the rider.

Yeah it was an interesting selection from her, but she clearly pulled it off. She said post race that she felt the HT would help her get that initial gap on the uphill, which it did. I love it when athletes can think out of the box, because it is really difficult these days with sponsorships pushing things to the pros that aren’t always their first choice (i.e. Chris Froome on Disc brake Factor, etc). The weight cut from FS to HT is proportionally more significant for the women and I’ve actually wondered why there aren’t more women riding HT’s in XCO.

On paper, Vlasov should be able to overtake LM and NQ tomorrow and LM overtake NQ, but who knows after three weeks. Louis has looked stronger in the latter part of the Tour, so really hoping he can do something special tomorrow and get that 5th.

A lot more tail winds this year and absolutely no transition/easy day. This Tour has been full gas!

Watching Main Cheeses emotional post race interview brought tears to my eyes. He's had a couple of tough years and really had an outstanding performance today. Really wonderful to see - special, special moments!
