  1. Otherwise I would say give Sidi a try, as you can get parts for them from allot of local and international web and physical stores
  2. Maybe you can get it here ? http://store.trekbikes.com/jump.jsp?itemID=2588&itemType=PRODUCT&path=1%2C2%2C15%2C426&iProductID=2588
  3. Never had issues on the klapperkop road itself, there has always been police present there when I was riding, sometimes even 2 vehicles. That can be good or bad depending how you view it.... Only ran the trails once before but would be hesitant to do it again. I really think they need to link this with Groenkloof, Voortrekker Monument and Fountains or something like that so it's fenced with security and requires paid entry to make it more secure.
  4. Great to hear, I had endless issues with GT frames so good to hear they can do it if they want to
  5. Thanks, they definitely are milking us, but ag it's a goal I've set so I can stay focused, so I'll shell out this time don't mind. Friend that is onvolved told me they have about 40 enties for 3 day event so far.
  6. Sworks ? Hmm... Hopefully no wheel switching dramas again this year
  7. What brand would that be Wendell ?
  8. Look I also feel it's over-priced, but I have long wanted to do an event of this nature and there aren't options close by Gauteng besides the Fountains one. The others are all much farther and I'm sure more expensive and tougher ?
  9. Garfield that is R1600 I think, the R1200 is just racing
  10. True, but it's just like MTB stage races, or any race for that matter
  11. So anyone doing this ? I'm really amped and definitely going to do it, just need to find shoes again WW. magaliesmayhem.pdf
  12. Havent ridden there in a while, would say its more suited to running
  13. racetime.co.za I think
  14. Hmm might just go check it out. Thanks for the heads up
  15. Perhaps he should put one below the seat to the rear rather to video traffic coming from the back. My problem with bike mounted cams is the camera doesn't show the whole story : you can't see if he is signalling etc.
  16. Any opinions on the herbalife 24 range ?
  17. Post some more shots of course, would be nice to see
  18. I just think the gloves are restrictive in the thumb area so he cut them off. I've had 2 pairs of spez gloves now that have torn at the end of the thumb
  19. As my 1st set of road pedals I'm very happy, but I was looking for something basic. Maybe your needs differ
  20. Still open ?
  21. Hi all Got wind of the new watch they are releasing, mostly aimed at trailrunners, hikers etc. Looks good ! Now this or Garmin Forerunner 910xt ? Hmm... http://www.suunto.com/us/en/about-suunto/news/company-news/suunto-launches-the-ambit-gps-watch
  22. Yip have the Road and MTB BG Carbon Pro models as well. Love them ! MTB shoes going on their 3rd season now. Got the road version recently for a bargain, after trying Shimano and Olympic. There is no comparison. Really fits well for me with the standard insole, specially with my wide and flat feet. Go for it! Doubt there is any comparable carbon shoe on the market at that price.
  23. Go look on DCRainmaker.com he is reviewing a vest that has the HR built in
  24. CWC FTW !
