  1. Good point. Pedestrian deaths are VERY high (and the motorist is blamed) But H.T.F. are you going to monitor that?
  2. A nanny state for the small percentage of licence carrying, law abiding citizens. How do you impose any sort of rules or law on someone who doesn't really care? (Taxi industry for example. they strike if they feel they are being victimised)
  3. This has been discussed several times here on The Hub. Lots of different points of view and no real conclusion. So a search and see what people have to say.
  4. With all the Specialized and S-Works lettering, there isn't much space for anyone else...
  5. The required spoke length may vary according to rim depth and hub flange diameter.

  8. Does it not open bottles?
  9. That is a VERY good price! I like the tapered headtube and QR15. If you must, upgrade the wheels and brakes at first and upgrade the other bits as they wear out. The SLX stuff is great value for money.
  10. She looks more masculine than Damiano Cunego...
  11. That makes no. 5 I wonder if it was a natural or a test tube conception? When is he going to marry Anna Hansen? That is thier second child...
  12. PPA are involved with a few development groups who are desperate for kit. OR There is a development cycling club in Hout Bay for kids from Imizamo Yethu, which runs from the children's home - James House. There are already about 22 kids in training, and the do 3 training cycles a week with cycling volunteers. They have asked to please keep any bicycle spares, clothes, helmets, water bottles - basically any old cycling gear that you no longer want or need, as they have loads of kids wanting to join, but not enough equipment, and never enough spares to fix the bikes.
  13. Got tickets. Cant wait for the concert!
  14. That guy is lucky! The way it plays out in my head does have an element of comedy...
  15. Disc brakes and slicks. Wicked!
  16. It looks AWESOME! Any idea on its weight?
  17. Fantastic! Well done! I am struggling to lose 5kg...

  19. What is she banned from?
  20. With this sort of attention to detail, I am sure that was intentional...
  21. I try and keep the quality of my work @ home high... Anything I can't do or don't have time for goes to BMC. What are you going to offer?
  22. There are a few variables in a group set, so putting up a weight for a complete set will never be 100% correct. Front mech's are different (band on, braze on and different types of pull) Rear mech could differ (long or short) Cassettes come in different combos, each with a different weight. BB's come in different shell widths and some bike need press fit etc Chains lengths are slightly different for each bike Disk brakes use different rotors (6 bolt or splined, and they come in different diameters) - cables will also be different lengths for different bikes. etc etc Sometimes its better to have no info, rather than incorrect info...
  23. What is the difference between Crest and 355 rims? I weigh 100kg and ride a full suspension and ride normal cross country. Which rim would be better for me?
  24. I weigh about 100kg Front shock: approx 95 (Fox 32 F100 RL) Rear: about 175 (Fox RP2)
