  1. The little girl who played WW Junior was pretty awesome
  2. I don't think that you can exit on the Llandudno end of the missing link trail yet, so the stretch from the Cableway to Llandudno will be on tar If you pop into Ruyterplaats estate, there is a path that you can ride down that exits just above world of birds. Ask the security guys to tell you where to go (I think its the 2nd road to the right and there is a pedestrian gate 1/2 way down. Then you ride valley Rd to end as Cape Diver says and up the Nek on the LHS (newly repaired track) and then up and over Kirstenbosch to exit in Newlands. Ride along the path towards UCT and then its up past Rhodes Mem to Tafelberg Rd (and the Blockhouse).

  10. OK, get the 28's then
  11. When choosing an inverter, always go one up on what people suggest. Once you start using it, you start plugging more stuff into it. You mention laptop, iMac and router. What about a printer and a light ? And then there is your TV, Decoder etc etc And then the wife and kids want to charge their laptop and phone and tablet etc.
  12. There is a lot of confusion around pure sine wave vs modified sine wave and when/where they should be used. Some equipment doesn't mind, while its critical for others. I remember getting quite confused about it all and got a pure sine wave version.

    Ladies saddle

I had this done at The Gear Change (Cape Town). Someone in Gauteng that also does this: https://spineandsport.co.za/contact Pressure map saddle fitting: https://bikerumor.com/2020/02/06/review-pressure-map-saddle-fitting-to-join-the-gebiomized-secret-saddle-club/ It reduces the hit and miss / trial and error process somewhat

  18. Security Cam footage shows them leaving empty handed. Burglar bars held up OK
  19. Does anybody know what happened with this story ? This Ozzie cyclist story reminded me of this situation.
  20. Without even watching it, I would give it a rating of Eleven.
  21. Token Ninja looks like it does the same thing as the Wheels MFG product https://www.tokenproducts.com/bottom-brackets/20-ninja/537-BB841T-41 Seems like they have stock too: https://positivesportssolutions.co.za/product/bb841t-41-ninja-bb/
  22. What did the shop suggest that you need? I would imagine that you need a Wheels MFG setup. Threaded BB for BB86/92: Machined cups thread together for 24mm diameter spindle cranks. Switchback sports are the local dealers: https://switchbacksports.co.za/products/black-shimano-compatible-pressfit-86-92-bottom-bracket-threaded?variant=29498076561507
  23. If you are looking for lighter weight, more stiffness, a bit more robustness and better aero effects, be prepared to spend some money Don't get carbon for the sake of carbon. Deep section adds weight, and unless you are a breakaway specialist, the aero effect isnt worth it. For most of us, sitting in the bunch, the aero effect is minimal and our body creates the most drag anyway. On my new Trek, I got the 35mm Bontrager Aeolus 3 carbon wheels and really like them compared to the American Classic Argent tubeless I had on my previous bike, which were really soft and felt quite bendy. They are both tubeless compatible with a similar width and a similar weight even and I much prefer the Bontragers.
  24. I also binged this. Some good acting with a Saffa actress in the cast. (it had potential to be patronising and slightly cringey, but it really wasn't) Definite thumbs up and am looking forward to Season 02.
