  1. I don't have a WMF machine (had to Google it - from the little that I saw, they make Jura look a bit Toyota)
  2. In the absence of common sense, one must refer to the laws that govern us. But not all of them, only the convenient ones...
  3. Season 2 took a journey that was a bit above my pay grade Looks like I can keep up with S03
  4. Awesome Very excited!
  5. If some were to arrive in Cape Town, I would love to get my hands on a bag or two
  6. A lot of the 'cash cows' are feeling like this though
  7. Footage of bike thief lunging at bystander with angle grinder senior police officer says that thieves “have become brazen, greedy and lazy” due to the slim chance of being caught as forces divert resources away from bike theft towards violent crime. https://twitter.com/i/status/1230104852908462081 Comments are interesting
  8. Ok, so about R2k per panel (+ I probably need a solar charge controller if my Inverter doent have that built in) Is that a DIY job, or does it also need qualified installers with certification etc? Ja, that's what has been explained to me
  9. I have a 3kV inverter + batteries - it's free standing (with extension cords) at the moment. Next step is to connect that to the main DB - that's another R 7.5k for sparky to do a bit of rewiring and ad sub DB. That would run lights (with LED bulbs) and selected plug points. After that, I would like to add some solar panels, but I have no idea of how many and what sort of cost is involved in that.
  10. But why ?
  11. That's really just a high tech panty liner!
  12. Stoke recently did a Banshee Phantom with the Hope Tech3 E4 Duo lever https://www.instagram.com/p/B78KRhZnGe5/
  13. Do you know what time of the night/morning that was ? I am always amazed that there is only glass - no roller shutter doors etc. I suppose that they felt a certain level of security being across from the Claremont Cop Shop. #brazen
  14. This was great - very well done The British series always make a nice break from the American ones
  15. The top of the range (of what I could find) of other brands: Trek Rail 9.8: R 120 000 Scott eRide 910: R 85 000 Merida eOne Forty 9000: R 107 000 I couldn't find pricing on the Cannondale Habit NEO Sure there are several others Including the new Santa Cruz range ebikes are not cheap to start with, but it does feels like the Spaz range starts quite high and then shoots the lights out! Disclaimer 1 - I haven't done a side by side comparison of spec (frame, forks, gears etc). I imagine that R100k gets you a similar bike across the brands. Disclaimer 2 - I ride a Camber, so am not anti Spaz
  16. It would be great if all road users followed all the laws of the road - not just selected users following some rules and ignoring the other inconvenient ones. That's busses, trucks, taxis, police and traffic officers, ordinary motorists, motor cyclists and of course the cyclists (both commuter and the hard core lycra clad Strava chasing serious training type). But I think that only happens in New Zealand and some parts of Australia...
  17. Bike Lane = good intention Traffic Circle = good intention That particular combination = bad implementation I would rather take my chances and blend with the cars than try and navigate from island to island on the bike lane
  18. The spider waits for the snakes insides go soft and squishy, and then sucks them out through the eye sockets like a bit protein smoothie
  19. At the very least, I hope he wore BikeHub socks! Congrats Matt! Remember: Even though you are now married - you're still the boss (well, here at least)
  20. When you say aggressive, you mean relaxed geometry ? As opposed to a twitchy XC race orientated bike Some hard hitting hardtail bike porn here: https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/132729-dreamy-long-travel-am-hardtails/?hl=dreamy
  21. You say 'smear campaign', while others say 'social media presence' - it sounds quite defensive. (one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter - depends which side you are on) But the little bits and pieces of the 'campaign' that I have seen are not uncalled for or unrelated to whats going on - perhaps we aren't referring to the same posts. I am not sure. But before you TMNP go and make people's lives miserable, perhaps you TMNP should see if perhaps people have a point and have a reason to post on social media. It's not like there is a complaints department or have an email address that people can engage with... TMNP is not all that communicative, while Social Media is. So it does seem a bit one sided.

    Crest Rims

I am not sure if Shimano hubs are convertible between through axle and QR - I stand to be corrected though. One other thing to check is the axle spacing - Boost or non-Boost
  23. I think he means the land he buys like this
  24. Yep. Its not a 29'er, so that counts me out
