Linden wont be seeing me ever again either, I'm afraid... They put on a new sprocket and now I cant change from from small to big blade without the chain coming off... The service was done in May so probably don't have much of a leg to stand on, even though the first ride I had on it was last weekend. And I can't find the friggin' receipt... I had the chain come off so bad at one stage it got jammed between the sprocket and frame, taking a nice fat chunk of paint off my frame. Sorry, Linden Cycles. But after the R3000ish I spent there, this shouldn't happen. Next stop, Mikes Bikes. (Once I can afford to service it again)

Was hopping between bike shops in the northern suburbs of JHB yesterday. Below are 2 bikes in shops that are within 7km of each other. R2000 difference? Seriously?

OK, very confused as to what the route this year is... The write up says that the climb up to St Andrews is out this year, and that the route is slightly different. The route map PDF download is identical to last year...?????

Just read this on the email newsletter: Remember the new Cycling South Africa rules are as follows: "If you are a late entry at registration or you take out a day license you will not be seeded. You will be batched at the back of the race. So remember to pre enter before closing date on 17th September and take out a racing or cyclosport license for the year." I must now buy a license for the year?, when all I really ride is Amashova and the 94.7? Sounds ridiculous!
