    When was the last time someone sent a frame somewhere? I visited Postnet to get a quote to send just a frame from CT to Durban with the measurements of the box with frame inside. Unfortunately it falls outside the R99 special, because of the size, and the quote is R750. Is this the going rate to send a frame? Is there another company that someone has used that is a little more affordable? Thank guys

    Don't worry about flats or clips. 29er DH bikes are coming soon for the us weekend warriors and the way its going now even bigger wheels in the futur, then no one will have to pedal ever and they only have to give you a slight push on the top of the hill and you will glide over anything.

    You have a treaded BB. Therefor you can only use a treaded BB no matter what you want to install. The BB you can use is: the square taper you have, Travativ ISIS Drive - similar to square taper but have splines (not to be confused with that extreme dudes). The BB for you will be the external type, where the bearings is on the outside of the frame - Shimano.

    Also look at the quality of built. FYI I am heavier and have never broken a spoke or hub or rim. And yes I ride mtb but also did road.
