I have a pair of Ascent II's; The other day I was forced to launch off a pavement resulting in a pretty hard landing and the wheels are still spinning perfectly... So I agree with Colonel, they probably weren't built right.

Anyone realize how much that stage was like a spring race in the R44 area? I could just imagine myself in Moreau's position, with the main bunch getting smaller and smaller, no matter how hard you try...

I'm so glad I didn't visit theHub before I left work, since I switched my live coverage when Valverde attacked, I wanted to watch the highlights instead... I would have known the results if I came here. But then my G.Friend said to me on the phone "You won't believe who won today's stage babe!" when I had 1hr of coverage still to go... Never the less, I was still stressing during the last 1.5km! I thought "Maybe she was talking about Contador, sh*t!" Awesome win, great solo effort on the flats too.

I think it was a case of simply not seeing the bunch around the corner, so thinking their gap was bigger than it really was, so they started trying to out fox each other... They managed that pretty well
