  1. Right, pulled the trigger on a Jura E6. It better be good or I'm coming after you acolytes! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Reviews indicate that the Juras are expensive and not necessarily the best, but very good. Also in the market for a good machine. Delonghi seems tempting. Jura e6 at just shy of 15k is a bit rich but would go for that if I could find it a bit cheaper. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Keen to know this as well. If it's a reasonable price, might upgrade to an 820. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. New Pro carbon stem that's a bit shorter than the predecessor. New handlebar for Fizik and bartape. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. What exactly are they? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I was thinking to myself that that is pure filth, as well.
  7. In the same boat with the missus. Can't remember the cutoff but you need to do something like 20km/h average, to make it. After that first cutoff, things become a lot easier.
  8. It's the same route as last year, right? I didn't bother to actually compare... If so: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0Bzsqj2AZaOtvakxpTFp6WGtxSEE?usp=sharing
  9. Received my American Classic 420 Aero 3 wheelset today. They look well made and are relatively light. Not sure how I feel about the colour scheme but nothing a set of decals can't fix.
  10. "is it worth it?" is such a weird question. What do you intend to get out of it?
  11. Whoever gets it, will be seeded according to their seeding, so tour start time is irrelevant. As for payment, you're not allowed to ask for more than the original cost - R520 I believe. I'm sure it'll go quickly, if you post it in the classifieds.
  12. Right, so still waiting for the wheels. The FD is a thing of beauty. No longer does it have a stop screw for the top instead it seems it has a screw that adjusts a cam that pushes the maximum up. Shifting and adjusting is way easier. Also, it has its own tensioning adjustment built into the unit. Why it wasn't designed this way in the first place, I'll never know.
  13. They won't reseed based on recent races done after the cut-off, unlike last year. Unfortunately, this means a rather late start for us. I suggest you people invest in sunblock companies, I'll have to stock up on large quantities of SPF 50
  14. Some new bits arrived from CRC today. They're replacement parts for a tumble I took. Wheels (AM 420 Aero 3) should arrive Wednesday, I suspect. That's the new Dura Ace front derailleur. Solves some issues experienced with shifting, apparently.
  15. Sure. If I get her to start with me, she can push me up the climbs. It'll be a nice, relaxing ride. But she'll have to work hard to get me that sub-3.
  16. Because she rode fastone yesterday and that is how you get them to include its result in the seeding. I just want to get her as far away from the last batch as possible.
  17. Speaking of seeding that has allegedly already been done. Has anyone received any info on it yet? Would like to get a reseed for the missus.
  18. It's not like the bike stops performing after a year. I don't really get the CUD thing when it comes to cycling. Wanting something different, I get. Wanting something new because it's the latest model? Nah. Besides, it takes time for new standards to penetrate the market. The way u see it, going for the latest and greatest, typically means you limit yourself in terms of choice.
  19. Where did you import from? Been looking for one of those lights
  20. Sorry if I missed it, but which club do you ride with?
