  1. Except for the confusion at the start it was a good race. Will do it again
  2. I'm not going to comment whether the right call was made or not or what the reason for the call was. To me the whole CTCT trip was a disappointment due to protest actions. It started for us Vaalies on Friday morning when the roads were blocked off and many people missed their flights due to protests. Then on Sunday morning we got a sms informing us about the shortened rout due to protest action. In my opinion these protesters have established a new way of attracting attention and this will happen more on major events unless some sort of action is taken to prevent this. Will I again spend all this money to do this race, at the moment not. Mayby in a few months time I might feel different but not now.

  10. Try using other drinks. For some reason 32GI and my body doesn't work together. I really felt bad in races and got cramps, something I never got. Changed back to my regular drinks and problem was solved.

  17. Only did the 52 with the wife. Was well organised. Will be back next year Had one chop passing us about 10k's into the race, shouting keep left, keep left. Confronted him as we were keeping left as to why he was not doing the long distance if he is so professional. Got a mouthful back and that if we want to take up the road we must only do the Argus and 94.7 as there are full road closure there. Just laughed at him bloody chop. He had no number on by the way.
