  1. Saw the Clover Ice Cream vendors without helmets too.
  2. Vague and confusing to say the least.....fact that you have to bring your own swim cap, buy a timing chip etc, colour me unimpressed.

Had a XC-29 a very stiff and responsive ride. Cracked the frame, my fault, but still rode it till I decided it's not a good idea. Would rate it as a hard and reliable ride and not much of a flexy frame.
  4. What get's my goat is that you have to go thru to Germiston on Saturday, register and go through on Sunday again....yeah I know registration is a nightmare on the day but what about reg at Troi or some other stores.
  5. Hey Seeker hang tough, I went through some bad times earlier this year and the only thing that kept me sane was training even though I didn't race much. It will be okay!
  6. If he is such an non-event then how did they know to test him?
  7. 1. Andreas Raelert 2. Luke Mckenzie 3. Craig Alexander (at 40 it would be great to stick it to the youngsters) 4. Timo Bracht 5. Jordan Rapp (Sentimental Favourite)
  8. Hey Louis, is there going to be another training day?
  9. This from the Craigpark Residents Association FB Page https://www.facebook.com/craigparkresidentsassociation?hc_location=stream
  10. @ROCKMAN-X Triathlon, Louis where is the best place to stay for the weekend, close to the race?
  11. SHIMANO cant go wrong!
  12. Maybe they can use the money to get some of those refs on how to communicate properly and fairly with athletes. The tannie kakking on me about the fact that my top is not zipped to under my eyeballs and furiously blowing that whistle does not make me wanna hand over my cash for a license fee
  13. Do a walk thru of Transition as if you were racing, so walk as if you come out of the swim to your bike. Then walk the return leg from the bike to your transition area. That way you will know the route to your gear and not get confused about the location of your gear.
  14. Aquasphere Kayanne or Kayman (spellin) I like the Kayanne. But it's like shoes a bit of a lottery. Saw some Zoggs the other day that is Photochromatic, Zoggs is not to bad either.
  15. Try using Windowlene, spray it on the handle bar and Grips and it slides on easy, it also evaporates quick so it sets the grips.
  16. Entry Fee, Flight and Accom approx. R8k IMSA without the Specsavers Sponsorship, its gonna hurt the wallet.
  17. @Faceplant assume those are KM Marker on the Pic and the am I right it is a double loop?
  18. Others=Niner (Come On it should be up there in Lights!)

  20. Photo of Partner?
  21. Maybe try Lindsey Parry from HPC think he stays in that area, might be totally wrong
  22. jonno rumbelow 082 761 3119, he is in PE but knows his stuff
  23. If you read the small print they said they would check and then give the shirts....let's hope they do.
  24. TRIATHLETE'S TRAINING BIBLE...by Joe Friel. Wade through the book and you will never need a coach again, you become your own coach. That being said it didn't work for me as I have the attention span of a 2 year old hopped up on Green cooldrink, so went the coach route. So if you need supervision a coach will be better. For a first timer a good coach would be Jonno Rumbelow (Ex Ironguides) or Gerhard de Bruin
  25. Oh yeah also might be your TFL?
