  2. Owen you boykie, some people eating their words now. Sias this is what the aussies were preparing down in your neck of the woods when last we wrote
  3. Well done to Nashua ladies for producing the 2010 ladies Champ Cherise Taylor, you rock. Owen goes to show what one can achieve when your intentions are positive
  4. Thankless job and nobody prepared to accept nomination hence Roger has job for next few years
  5. No matter what who says CSA will not change their policies "Zero tolerance" !!!!! yet they reduce the sentence handed down.Would be interesting to know how many tests have they done on other riders who came back into the sport since they were bust.
  6. Anton your biggest problem with youngsters is their parents, be careful of what role you allow them to play and know from the word go what their priority is between cycling and school. There is a lot of potential in the u16/junior racing ranks that needs help

    MyRace

With all the negatives on at the moment I would like to inform hubbers that it took me all of 10 days since application to delivery of my card. I am pleased at this service. I would like to think that we all can get the same from Myrace if only we follow the simple rules. Ensure you data is correct your club secretary is on the ball in signing off the confirmation request Your provincial body acknowledges your affiliation your financials are done accordingly Thank you MyRace.
  9. Wheelsuck I don't condone such behaviour at all,may I suggest you speak to Amed or Fatima about this. Fact is after six years of complaining hubbers are still going into cajees and supporting them, then come back to complain about bad service even though they have read about this on the hub several times. I fail to see the logic. I go into the shop to buy what I want and haggle on the price and walk out happy, will I take my bike there for a service HELL NO, even though they sponsored my club in the past and still give discounts to many a member of my club.Vote with your wallet and avoid the stress.By the way they about to open two more stores soon so surley the demand for their products must be there. Looking at all the other complaints currently active one wonders how do we keep all persons happy. From the Lemmers down to Myrace and including insurance claims one will always have words of glory from some and doom from the others.
  10. Cajees has been flamed on this site for the past six years yet they continue to flourish and expand. Some hubbers always has a lot to say about them yet they frequent their shops, so the next time I see one of you in the shop I will actually remind you there and then of the %$##@ service you moan about. Might I remind some of you it appears you complain about almost all the LBS's in your areas. The shops will never be able to please all
  11. Groot Lem it is a waste of time asking for nominations when the Provinces including CGC themselves has not even requested this information from the club delegates as yet, so once again it will be a round table discussion and then we the general cylists will blame and point fingers at people such as you who at least is trying to make a difference. Good luck to all those nominated.
  12. CSA cabal at it's best again.Just proves the old firm controls the drawstrings. If your witnesses are prepared to take the stand go ahead with legal proceedings
  13. Spinnekop now I know why you sold me your cages

  15. All what is needed from CSA is a schedule of qualifying times for all disciplines made known to cyclists. Once this is available then there is something to work toward and is public knowledge not for a select few only.It will surley do away with favours for some as well.

Hubbers this is what cycling has been missing for a long time, you to get put a face to the name and check his/her profile with a simpe click. Well done Michelle and Pantani. I suggest CSA look at this and maybe just maybe you can have this site create that LONG AWAITED DATABASE you so urgently require..
  17. Well done CSA, no wonder you left behind the SA 2009 kerin champ who in your eyes was not worthy of a place as YOUR ladies were in much better shape. Wonder when ladies such as Corbett and Nicholson will ever be ready in the eyes of CSA
  18. George will be sadly missed by the ATHLETICS fraternity. At all road races around Guateng one would be( Announcer par excellance) entertained by George and his family(wife running the dogs) One person who knew the sport inside out, always willing to help when called upon and the BEST Everton supporter in SA. RIP George Rand Athletic Club
  19. SIMPLE SOLUTION: RESPECT FOR ONE ANOTHER. Lets us all treat the other the same way we would want to be treated. The cradle route has become the cyclists haven for training, racing etc. Most of the guesthouses/businesses has opened up the land for our Mountain bikers as well let us return the favour requested of us and simply follow the road rules What has been overlooked by this debarcle is the new wave of bike jacking taking place on the route esp. around the bottom area circle near the Lion enclosures.
  20. Cradleresident and Mr Ples please be on the look-out for me ON YOUR roads as I ride there all the time and introduce yourself in manner you deem fit and I will return the greetings the same way. I believe I have as much right to any public road as you do as I respect my fellow road users however if I am impeded for any reason or other I shall do the same without any hesitation. I ride through the cradle area every second Saturday from 06H30 to 08H00 starting from avianto side through around the circles and up Beyers Naude back to Avianto. I am on a black and orange bike. Nou weet jy waarom Rasta nie n nuwe kontrak het met CSA
  22. Boycott will not work due to many a cyclist only interested in riding their bikes irrespetive of the politics around the sport. It all starts with the individual's participation within their club administration carried over to their involvement at provincial level then to national level. My past five years in cycling has taught me that the system is unstable from the individual's perception right up the ranks due to lack of understanding and PARTICIPATION within the structures. Everyone is shouting their mouths off yet what have they offered to remedy the situation from club to CSA level. I believe most of the loud mouths don't serve on their club admin. The rot on top is there because we at the bottom allow it to happen and we always have something nasty to say about the few that try and make a change or are willing to serve on the bodies.

  24. SA land of milk and honey but be careful us blacks steal anything even the milk from you tea. Make sure your bike stay indoors bolted with a chain and lock because if it moves we take.(had to get in before big H and Sias convince you otherwise).
