In running I pay R66-00 per year for my license irrespective of where I run (x/country, track, road)in any province.Commercial clubs in athletics DO NOT pay any additional costs to either the province or national body and yes they are creaming sponsorships left right and centre, Just look at the Yellow pages series or the Nedbank series.

Zatek your start time is the time over the timing mat not the group start time. If you have a old license from last year that will work due to the current license issues(Alida). I suggest you requestb your club admin to print the MYRACE listsing for your club and use that to prove you have applied,it should work as proof of application.

Not a mistake, when the race numbers are small they tend to seed people in the higher bunches and vets categories, this goes to show how race numbers are dropping at events even after the entry dates was extended.

Go a bit further back and check the vet rider who was suspended for doping he still rode races during that time and nothing was done about it even though some complaints were made public.CSA stance was the race organizers should not have accepted his race entry. Napalm what you reading, the mail was sent out by CSA not CGC and no the run of the mill clubs did not sign contracts before only clubs with racing teams that were licensed. Commercial contract with CSA is around R2500 my friend not small change.

A simple question to Pro-funrider: Seeing that many a persons reputation is been tarnished by this event and only You been singled out at this point in time here on the hub even though another cyclist was caught as well I am requesting some answers from you to be honest and clear the air on the following issues: Did you do this intentionally or not( Are you prepared to single out your source seeing that you were bust) Was anyone from your club involved Have you apologized to your fellow members and club management for bring them into disrepute as well I asssume from your posting that "Charlene" busted you to WADA,why if she was your manager at the time. Can you honestly say this was worth the effort? what have you achieved from this insanity?

The same ??????? that supplied the Harmony runners at it again it would seem, over the past year all the doping cases that has come to light has stemmed from the PTA region one wonders why ????? is still operating. Question: Is CSA not supposed to follow the UCI regulations and implement the 2 year ban instead of just 6 months. Hi Hubbers I for one gave the licensing issue the thumbs up last year and the advocated for members to belong to clubs however after reading the newsclip sent to the provinces and reading the issues on the hub with regards to licensing/contracts I am disappointed. The fee structure for licenses will increases after approval at the board meeting in Feb and all clubs to pay for commercial wording on kit: 1-PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW DO YOU INTRODUCE A NEW SYTEM TO THE MASSES AND THEN INCREASE THE FEE CHARGES WITHOUT ANY IDEA OF HOW WELL THE SYSTEM WILL WORK AND IF THE NUMBERS BASED ON THE CURRENT FEE SYSTEM IS WORTHWILE HAVING, THE FIRST BATCH OF LICENSES HAS NOT EVEN REACHED THE MAN IN THE STREET yet their is an increase mooted already. Hi guys Where did this race take place? A simple request to the moaners please name and shame the riders and their club if you are so frustrated with them and rightly lodge your compaints with the race referee, I get the feeling some racers are always waiting to complain to the public but does no official compaliant hence these club members never get reprimanded. You have read the official rules and regulations so adhere to them or stay clear away from the races and then you avoid these development riders all together. It amazes me that no official of the province in which this takes place has done something about it, WHY????????
