    Do not do Black Hill to Red Hill on your own - some hikers got mugged there this week. FOR GOODNESS SAKE just open Old Wagontrail and Silvermine to mtbikers. Whats the promblem? (think before you answer) (flame suite on)

    DJR I hear you but Any rock as large as a rugby ball I do not want to be there in a car or a bike.

    This is nonsense it is either safe for all or safe for none. If a rock comes down it matters not if you are a cyclist or motorist - you are stuffed!! I lost my neighbour on Chapmans Peak many years ago - rock fell on his car - he was killed instantly and his wife next to him was not even scratched. You do not determine the size, height above road or vicinity of where a rock is going to fall. Open the pass for all or none.

    The berms that were built vanished.

    Both left turns one about half way down and the other about 3/4 down. The berm almost at the bottom is fine - right line, angle and raduis. The very rocky right turn near the top needs work - cutting it as someone is trying to do won't work either. No idea who it is but he has put in a lot of time and effort. Has done some good work but the berms suck. He should rather come join us on a build day.

    The berms were constructed by some renegade spade wheelder.

    These berms HAVE NO bottoms - are at 83.5 degrees and a raduis of 50cm. The top is a knife edge.

    Cold and wet!! Sorted out the LOG - now a highway! (can now be jumped - took away the rock below it so landing is clear). Did a lot of work on the exit of Mamba. Cape Brewing Company beer tasted good even after the rain!! Welcome to dirtypot who is now dirtier.
