Will kill myself just to catch a rider half my age and on my 30yr old Colnago - reactions VARY Don't try to ride away from me when I'm catching you esp in the south easter - we both loose.

    Plascon RemovALL NB -- USE AS PER INSTRUCTION and do not get impatient. Ovencleaner can also work wonders on some paints. Avoid any blasting - you will not shine it up again.

    There's a dog and his bone here - can't let go. The debate on pro or anti Avids trips up some peeps knowledge of equipment. What still amuses me is how much sellers want for their "crappy" 2nd hand Avids.

    YOU are going to have to do the homework and don't be haastig. The local bike shop is biased but so are most of your buddies.And opinions can be overwhelming. Maybe buy second hand at around R4 ride for a while and see what kind of riding you prefer and then buy something you want. Read on the web about all the different types of riding and go to youtube.

    Rode to school and loved it. My kids no chance and just down the road - 2kms - no ways. Traffic a disaster and the very 1st time my laaitie leaves the property on his bike an attempted hi-jack.

    What is it with the water?? Clean in parrafin - turps - lampolie - petrol -meths and just hang up to dry. No! no! no! not in that order just use any ONE. Would put water in detergent yes. Benzine is moer expensive - paint thinner and acetone is cheaper.

    3D printing might not be strong enough - quite a bit of pressure needed. Could try medical supplies company. Ebay "plastic tube clamp"

    Just to be different and for a change I will be using graphite powder as a test run which Will be the the Ultimate Dry lube as you won't have to apply it the night before and I suspect that it might last longer than a whole ride. Can be bought in a handy application canister from any lock shop. Also guaranteed to silence any and every Avid disk brake.
