Ek ry nou bietjie langer as 10 jaar weer en daar was soveel events wil amper sê ons het elke maand iets gery, nou deesdae is die events so min en so duur. Events deesdae het ook f all gees. As jy dit nie geniet nie hoekom doen jy dit?

It did not disappoint, the 10km and 1200m climb was worth the view 😍 the photo does not do it justice.

Lekker day out. Just to Boschendal some work on your direction boards would be greatly appreciated. Trails are all running great just would love to have seen how to get back to Plaisir.

Another great weather day (yes I'm a good weather rider 😎) thought it would be a nice relaxing ride. On the way home while enjoying the views and sun I passed a roadie, on the next hill I heard the gears crunch behind me and the game was on like accidentally revving next to a 90's Honda 😂

Had to see if the wheels still turn. I do like the rain but I miss riding trails.

One Spaz maybe if you don't splurge out on spec.

Am I the only armgat that look at these beautiful bikes and see the eye watering price and thinking what I can buy with that amount of money. Yesterday we had a meeting between Stellenbosch and Summerset, had some time so we popped into Specialized and BMW. For the price of a mid tier Spaz you had quite a few new bikes to choose from and for the top tier Spaz you could nearly buy a top tier BMW 1000rr that looks like a GP bike. How do bicycle manufacturers justify those prices and don't come with R&D as there's plenty that goes into the bikes as well.

That's unfortunate but as I said I just replace them. Have had no issues with quality still use my previous 2 pairs, still in great condition. I rather change them more often (new is always better concept). I like fox it looks funky, the strap makes it easier to get my hands in and out and they are on sale a lot so inexpensive.

Have to say I used to run 165mm XO downhill crank, little disappointed when the pedal insert started moving around inside the arm. Sram bb's prices are also eye watering for what is a piece of plastic and 2 bearings. Now running Lyne's AMP crank, no more creaking, issues, cheap shimano bb lasts forever and I can still run SRAM chainrings. Ordered the crank and I probably had it within 24 hours.

Some of these gloves shown here looks old. How long do you guys use a set of gloves? I usually change every year or two. Had a nice pair of Fox gloves rip but mass and momentum vs tree, you guys know how that plays out😂

I actually like these, okay that Ebike is more of a novelty rather than something to be used extensively. That Unno (okay I don't like the name I had a Uno 😂) but for us vertically challenged people the low standover is a + of the funky design.

I have no idea of DH bikes but insurance company's are far from dumb even on valid claims they look for reasons not to pay or pay minimum. Trying to over insure something will most likely come back to bite you.

It did help 😁 but I wasn't suffering yet there, the last 15kms home I bombed out and my legs and head where no longer talking to each other 😂

I can definitely recommend Armourride. After more than a year and a half with multiple dives bike still looks like new.

Carbon frame doesn't necessarily mean a lighter bike. Giant's higher spec aluminium bikes used to come with carbon wheels. For example a carbon scott spark 930 weighed considerably more than the alu giant anthem 1.

To me it's fine if I'm riding and it starts to rain a bit but I won't start a ride in the rain.
