I was wondering, officials take 10% of prize money. Beteken dit nie dat ons as professionele ryers (Not that i really see myself as a pro, i work full day) die officials op 'n manier betaal nie. On a day where there is R100 000.00 prize money they take R10 000.00 home. Why are they so rude to us. Not all of them, some of them are very friendly but some of them are so bad that they cancel the good ones out! I really don't like feeling like i am doing something wrong all the time! There is a specific official that is allways on the start line that is so BAD and bitchy i don't know how long i'm gonna keep quiet any more!

Ek was daar Dinsdag oggend en Woensdag middag en ook niks gehoor of gesien nie. Baie fietsryers en drawwers gesien! Dit klink soos 'n urban myth tipe van storie!

My husband is looking to buy a new frame. Yesterday he phoned the Specialized Rep (Phone number published in Bicycling/Ride) Magazine. Anybody who has ever been on the Specialized website will know that theres many many many diffirent types of frames. My hubby was looking to find out the diffirence between the frames as the shops are not clued up enough to inform him and also to find out what size he would ride as the conversion from a conventional frame to the specialized is very ingewikkeld. (here again the guy at the shop just kept telling him you'll ride the biggest frame, which is not true) To make a very long, unhappy & rude story short: 'SPECIALIZED MUST TAKE THEIR BUSINESS AND SMOKE IT!!!!' Obviously this guy is not interested in making money!!

That is very funny!! I would however not want to piss them off completely as i actually want them to help me with stuff now and again!!

OK so here goes! I have been using asthma medication for 20 years, vandag ek 6 jaar oud was en my mangels uitgekom het. So three years ago when i started cycling seriously i went to Drug Free Sport, filled out the THerapeutic Exemption and sent it to them with my Doctors recomendations. In 2005 it expired and i renewed it. So today i think maybe i should check with the CSA that they still have my TUE certificate. this is when i blew a gaskit!!! "Sorry Altie we don't have any records of therapeutic exemption in our office" What the.... I phone Drug Free Sport and talk to Pamela, they have me on their system, but why don't CSA.... Need i say more... I am still fuming.... At least the problem is sorted out now!! You know how murphy's law works they would have tested me on sunday if i didn't sort it out, now that it is sorted they won't test me!

Die paaie waar ons gery het was fantasties en die scenery is gorgeous maar die probleme kom in met dinge soos troppe boer bokke/beeste/skape wat oor die pad storm, daai ouens op hulle klein motorfietsies wat 3 op een motorfiets sit en dan teen die verkeer ry. En dan natuurlik hulle taxis, imagine die mees walglike sa taxi bestuurder en maal dit met tien! Maar ek moet jou se as jy 'n lekker stil plek kan kry gaan dit net kan mooi en lekker wees! BAIE WARM though!

Sterkte Big H, ons was in Nigeria vir die All Africa Games en dit is nie 'n baie cycling friendly environment nie. Die weer is lekker vir fietsry maar jy gaan terug kom 'n baie brawe man cause as jy daar kan oorleef op jou fiets sal jy enige plek oorleef!
