  1. Give Kevin Evans a shout. Owns the bike shop in Plett and am sure that he can give you plenty MTB routes in and around Knysna / Plett
  2. You could look to do some of the K2C backwards. Climb up the Simola hill. Hit the dirt to Diepwalle and then back along the R339 (see attached) Alternatively if you want to add some more distance, when you hit Diepwalle, instead of turning right onto the R339, turn left. Ride the R339 till you hit the R340. Turn right onto the R340 and then all the way to Keurbooms. (Will need someone to meet you at Keurbooms to lift you back to Knysna). Nice lunch spot at Keurbooms - Tyme and Again Farmstall
  3. Anywhere in the Waterberg. Plenty farm roads to get in some descent milage
  4. No where. Weather crap outside, so hit the pain cave (aka gargage)
  5. Hi Guys and Gals Looking for suggestion on reputable companies that can detect source of roof leaks in the Randburg area. We have already tried Universal Roofing (bloody useless) as well as some independent people, but too no avail We have a Thatch roof on which we had Harvey tiles installed just over two years back. When we renovated (6 years ago), the renovated section has a flat roof. The leaking is within the flat roof section but I dont think that this is the source as we have re watreproofed this section numerous times. The leaking has only happened post the Harvey tile installation. Unfortunately, the company that did our Harvey Roofing went belly up (due to Covid) so we don't even have any recourse against them. Any knowledgeable folk out there that can pass on recommendations? Thanks
  6. Makes perfect sense. This year has really been a mess up. Start of 2021 also not looking much better with the talk being that Tour Down Under will be restricted to Aussie riders only
  7. With the Vuelta well on its way, was wondering why there is such a difference in total distance of the Vuelta to that of the Giro and TDF. Vuelta 2893 KM 231 KM Longest stage 2 classified flat stages 1 ITT Giro 3361 KM (3490KM )* 229 KM(253 KM) longest stage 6 classified flat stages (3 of which were the ITT's) 3 ITT's TDF 3479 KM 218 KM longest stage 4 classified flat stages 1 ITT * Distance in brackets would of been the total distance if stage 19 was not shortened
  8. Bunch of wankers. I am sure they wouldn't be laughing if someone took a baseball bat to their windscreen

  12. Definitely looks to be the bike. Here's hoping that the OP gets reunited with his pride and joy and the farkers get what is coming there way. I am sure there are a couple of heavies that would be more than willing to go and do a viewing

  17. Just seen this: Not sure of the cause? @deceuninck_qst "After talks between the riders and the organisers, today’s #Giro stage has been shortened to 150 kilometers. Part of the stage will be covered in team buses, before a restart later in the afternoon and the finish in Asti

  22. Those components look so rad. Cant wait to see the end result
  23. The act of dropping from a great height onto level ground. Sometimes unavoidable, but the act of doing it intentionally and/or repeatedly is widely regarded as unintelligent and unnecessarily damaging to one's bike. Nay, Nay
