  1. my bike mechanic is also a shop owner.one man show and thats how i like it.i have learned over the years how to do most of the stuff but i do not touch shocks.
  2. untill every one using the road realize that we must share the road and that you do not own the road i think not much will happen.it is the attitude of all road users that need to change.that is motorists,pedestrians,cyclist,motorbikes etc.how to do this however is the million dollar question and i do not have the answer.

  11. i cannot cycle on nothing.last sunday had plaatkoekies with cheese and honey with the kids for breakfast.Then had a jol at contermans downhill and lakejump and had boerierolls and a few beers.i had fun and probably weighed a kilogram more than the previous day.you dont need drugs to have a jol.

  15. my granddad always said wrt cars that you must remember during the day you drive the car , but during the night the car drives you.I make this applicable to my bikes.That what I can afford and ou ooms en diere op die handpalm is the only way for me.
  16. dont take bombs(the co2 type)deflate tyres but not all that much.something to keep between the brake pads as well as between the fork.take off the rear deraileur , but sommer take it off with the hanger.where are you off to?

  18. my olympics lasted me for years and years.plenty good for walking uphills as well.bought pair of Pro Bike's last month.no complaints as yet.the overriding factor should be fit though.

  23. i see the cape argus has released a list of 50 odd people convicted for drunk driving as part of a name and shame campaign.last week i came from a wedding and there was this oke as pissed as a skunk getting into his car about to leave.i told him i did not think he should be driving.i even offered him a lift home,but he declined.i did not know him that well,but we have spoken a few times in the past.to make a long story short,i took his keys and threw it so far into the veld i think he is still looking for it now.my condolences to a fellow biker to clem.
