Not sure how to check, the only reason I remembered was because it was the Black Friday sale on and that is in November. The last e mail I got was last year I think and it gave you a few options and it said if you don't reply then it is automatically carried over to the next year. I entered both MTB and road for 2020 in 2019 but did ride the MTB one in 2021.

I emailed already so shall wait and see what the reply is. I bought the entry for 2020 in November 2019.

Ha ha, I might actually ride it all this time . In my first and so far only 947 in 2019 I have to admit I walked the one steep bit on the track, my legs were tired.

I was wondering if they will still carry over my 2020 entry to 2021, they initially said they would. But no mention of it now so will wait and see.

Now I feel old!

I totally understand what OP is saying but have not experienced it the same. I have taken my children on most of the trails since the youngest was 4 and taught them from young to pull over to the left when an adult is behind them and then go again and it has never been a problem. The only problem initially was confusion between left and right so we changed it to same side as the bell until they got left and right correct. Obviously they couldn't do that if they were doing an obstacle that you can't stop at but then I would check behind as far as possible for other riders, if clear then tell them to go as fast as they could over the obstacle. If there were other riders we would pull over till they had past and then go for it. edit spelling

The original in Marshall St in JHB. Spent many nights there. I went in the early to mid nineties. Young and totally care free, it was a good time. The Edenvale one opened after clubs were no longer in JHB CBD.

I know Facebook is not everyone's favourite but I have enjoyed a group on there about Joburg clubs of the eighties and nineties. Thought I was the only one who remembers getting teargassed by the police at The Doors Have other memories from The Doors too that were a bit more fun.

And life got really really busy again and I am still catching up Peaky Blinders so probably will only get to watch the shows you are all talking about sometime in the far future

My children's primary school is also pretty strict about absenteeism and we have to provide a doctor's note. Also if they miss a test, unless a medical note is provided they will receive 0 as a mark and will not be allowed to write it upon their return. However they are very accommodating if you send a medical note. The only thing that I find a bit irritating is they send work home if they are off sick and I am kind of like if he was well enough to do the work he would be at school.

Tis a sad sad day indeed. My youngest has deflected and is no longer a MU fan and worst of all, he will now not be walking alone...... Luckily my oldest still is very very much MU and thus he is continuing as the 4th generation in the family to wear red, well the only red that matters anyway
