Funny enough considering my first ever tattoo for early next year,
  3. So our puppy had his first experience of the family swimming last month. Luckily so far he has shown no inclination to join us. Maybe cos the other dogs don't swim either. However he has perfectly mastered the fine art of performing the obligatory live human check with his cold nose when you are having a blissful sleep.
  4. Thanks everyone! Appreciate the suggestions and definitely got lots to watch. Thanks again.
  5. Figured this was the right thread, looking for recommendations for stuff to watch. Only now coming out of a long whirlwind of a really busy career and 2 children very close in age so literally haven't watched anything besides Derry Girls. Children are now older and more independent so have a little bit of free time in the evenings. Never watched Vikings, GOT and other series I probably haven't even heard of etc. I have just started to watch SOA and really enjoying it. I do also really enjoy the soundtrack. I enjoy British series, crime series, reality but not like Hollywood stuff more like everyday people, comedies, documentaries etc. but am open to different genre. Show has to kind of grab me from the beginning. So I am open to suggestions, have Netflix. Can be old shows as its been a while. Thank you

  8. Hope its a good outcome for you too and it is resolved speedily so that the pain can lessen.
  9. I respect your beliefs and wanting to promote veganism, it is refreshing to see a young person standing up for something that they endorse and wanting to educate others. I must confess I haven't read all your posts but is animal rights one of the reasons you wish to promote veganism? Perhaps consider also volunteering at a local animal shelter if you have the spare time, they often need extra hands.
  10. If possible, try get raw honey that has not ben processed.
  11. Have to agree with you on that one.
  12. I didn't realize that her qualifications were actually not real/non existent until I googled just now after I read your post. Wow the mind boggles.....

  14. Anatomic online (weardirect) have got some nice kids riding tops on sale at good prices.
  15. Thank you, I never considered anything else. Going to check when I get home for bites as truly have never felt like that before and just presumed it was because I had not had a very big breakfast but I did eat. I could fall asleep on my laptop right now and have a headache. But either way it has remined me to eat and drink properly just in case
  16. Not exactly sick but this Sunday's mtb ride was a stark reminder of why correct nutrition in the morning and hydration are so important. I had become a little complacent with both and I used to be really good but alas had let it slip. It's never happened like this before. My legs were literally like jelly and I had zero energy, pushed the bike over rocky bits that could normally ride as didn't trust my legs to have the power and I didn't want to fall on a rock. Finished the ride and felt like a bus had ridden over me and today I am still knackered and it was not even a long distance. An unpleasant lesson but one I won't forget in a hurry.
  17. Glad you are home, nothing beats home and what an inconsiderate bloke you unfortunately had to share with.
  18. Great. Thank you so much!
  19. Mural in Manchester of Ian Curtis was recently unveiled. Love Will Tear Us Apart still one of my all time favourite songs.
  20. So this thread got me to get out my late Dad's Omega and it's not working properly so needs a service. its a 1965/6 model in really good condition. Could somebody recommend a place in JHB that would be able to do a decent job on an old Omega? Thanks

    RIFLE

It is essential that it's comfortable for you to carry. I had a soft holster made for me that fits inside the waistband and it was much more comfortable than my previous one.
  22. Glad you are feeling better and it's a positive that they have identified one of the problems. Stay strong!
  23. If one had bumped into my foot I think there would have been a me shaped hole in the ceiling.
