Yep, very good to see "the race that broke the Hub!".* My 4 yr old kept asking where I was and if a particular shot was the men or the women now. They interviewed a Cajees New Horizons guy I worked a paceline with on stage 1 but that's as near to fame as I got. Well done to TCS, 3 secs. win over 4 mini-races and 175kms - great effort. (*mostly fixed now)

LBS couldn't cope with trueing my Spinergy wheel and had me diving all over town looking for tools. Took it to TDF at 5 yesterday - they fixed it while I waited and then didn't charge me. Great service, cr@p business idea you'd think - except now I want to spend money in their shop even though there's ten others that are closer. Oh and of course they get a free ad here. Very cool

Serious question - can you believe what you're watching and generate enthusiasm for performances that are likely, hours, days or years after the event to be discredited? Best not to get heated by some very poor journalism. There were no blows and well done for folk spotting that the pics were irrelevant to the non-story. It's easy to get someone to say I don't like x, then go to x and say y says they don't like you what do you say to that? And then you get a 26 episode saga of drama and unhappiness filling newspaper column inches. Much better we all go down to M'Drift and break some windows so there's something specific to talk about*. The good point to come out is giving notice to residents of race routes and times - I hope that can be followed through. *Joke

Hagar - that's the shoes they sold me.... are we related? They're fine, I really quite liked them but if you go for a road pedal you'll need new shoes.
