  1. I have a few carbon bikes within that budget for sale. PM me your details and I can show you pics and specs
  2. Ok Francois. I'll desist and disengage. I've never had time for Matt and his cry-baby ways
  3. Thanks for this K@k post Shawn. I bought a hub from Eddie Gordo needing it to be posted quickly to me and now he's making me wait till the funds have "cleared." Matt @Admin needs to allow my post count to be accurate. It hasn't climbed in 3 years since I got a warning point, but I've been around this place for years. Like Warren always advocated: if you don't have gazillions of posts, you're not credible on the hub.
  4. Unless the "email" received was just a photoshop pic?
  5. Don't be a P03SSY. Just get stronger and fitter and ride your bike with him. What is he going to do when there is load-shedding?
  6. This is why I only ride my SS mtb. I buy a chain and a set of tyres every year. Due for a new set of brake-pads soon too. Very cheap to run. Beer has got expensive though
  7. Understanding that the sealant has nowhere to go. When it dries on the inside, apart from the liquid evaporating, the cr@p is still left inside the tyre. It adds weight
  8. I usually put a 50ml syringe full into each wheel every 3 months and the take the tyres off and clean out completely every 10 months or so if the tyre isnt shagged already. It takes a bit longer for my wife to wear her tyres down, so hers requires more work than my singlespeed
  9. Where you located? PM me and I will see if I can help you. I have sealant, you will just need to buy some rim tape for your width rim. We should be able to get it to seat on the rims
  10. You're getting on in years. Are you sure it's not your knees?
  11. WD40. Lots of it. And a rubber mallet. Easy peasy
  12. Make sure it can't be rehabilitated with physio/bio before you have it operated on.
  13. Sell the other one and swap it with this one. Your s/o might not even notice the difference
  14. It needs to be in great shape. There's a night ride there on Thursday if memory serves me correctly
  15. Sounds like you have a 5° stem. You need a steeper angled, longer stem. Try a 100mm. I also felt the same yesterday on my ride on a new bike.
  16. Conjecture, your honour. The claimant is no longer resident, so therefore cant claim title.
  17. This bike will cost R30K+ to replace R14-R15K is a bargain
  18. Sorry, but I find this to be a stupid question. If you had spent more than 3 seconds on this you would've found plenty of answers regarding Wayne and his products. He is a legend and his products are exemplary
  19. Looks lekker. How much did it cost to prep and paint? I've got a frame I'm ready to convert to MonsterCross.
  20. K@k advice. If it's not a Hope converter, you're probably steering the OP down the wrong path with bad info. Hope QR end-caps work with Hope hubs
  21. No need to apologize: you're entitled to your own opinion.
