Amazing race! Perfect end to the season by Max. For all the bad luck he has had all season being punted off in UK and Hungary, a dodgy tyre in Baku, glad to see the driver who lead 72% of the laps this year world champion.

 

Good luck to the team of Drive to survive to add more drama than that.

I doubt it will be overturned. The race directors decision is final. Mercedes just trying to maintain the limelight in the championship to the end.

the protest of 33 passing 44 before the line is weak and won’t hold up. 44 brake tests 33 several times.

the incident of the 5 lapped cars being allowed through is the race directors decision which is final.

F1 will lose more fans if the result is changed to suit Mercedes’

Merc should have pitted Lewis for Softs, if Max stayed out, Lewis could have passed on the last lap.

It’s too late for that. Toto has bullied and poiticed to gain many advantages for his team. The resultant damage to F1 will probably remain well into the next decade. The FIA and F1 needs a different winner and that trumps Totos protest’s.

As for overturning the race result because the Race director got the cars between the title contenders out of the way on safety grounds is typical Shamilton fanboy hypocrisy and "the rains down in Africa" trying to bully the race Stewards like he does every race weekend. He already bullied Derek Warrick into not investigating Shamilton's off track retake of the lead after car 33 passed car 44 legitimately
