Must be tough when you realize a whole lot of your success was down to superior machinery.

Yes, the driver needs to be on his game too but I think quite a bit of Lulu's success, like Sebastian Vettel's RBR success, can be attributed to the equipment.

I'm a relatively big Max fan, and I have to admit, Max's current car is a monster.

Newey really has the rest of the paddock scratching their heads, especially when the Red Bulls came back even faster after the new Technical Directive regarding floor heights etc. :)

So I wonder if our good friend Mazepin has been called up to go and fight in Ukraine?  Or are some soldiers more equal than others......

Seen crazy stories of the people being called up.
Mazepin has some money behind him so doubt he will get called up......

So out of 10 how likely do you think it is that Max takes the title this week end ?

I say 8 / 10

How likely to take the Drivers title for the year?

To take the title this weekend, he must win the race with Leclerc finishing no higher than eighth or ninth -- depending on who claims the extra point for the fastest lap -- and Perez outside the podium places

I'd say 30% chance...

Yeah he needs a le Clerc engine failure and that is not impossible but unlikely.

Yeah, a rainy Singapore night race brings everything into the realm of possibility. I think it could be very unpredictable race, which is what we want.

I know general consensus is fernando was driver of the day but thought Gasly had a better day. Started last and finished 9th , almost 8th.

was cool to see Alonso overtake Hamilton though. Must have given Alonso much satisfaction.

If it was not for Fernando, that would have been one of the most boring races ever. Ok and maybe Ocon being dished out penalties for not doing a penalty how a penalty must be done🤣.

Guess I am just sour because my team(Ferrari) is still no better. I am glad Aston has now joined the best of the rest party though. Pity Maclaren went backwards.

Yeah

, think Ocon was in the keystone Alpine team. Bloody comedy that was.

director focused to much on the sharp end of the field. Wish they had spent more time on the rookies and gasly ‘s move up the field.

speaking of Ocon, I think Gasly going to expose him this season. We wait n see.

Drive of the day definitely belongs to Nando. I’ve regained huge respect for him the last few seasons and he’s proving he’s still got it.

aston hired Dan Fallows from Red Bull back in 2020 specifically to take on the 2023 car Project. San was head of aerodynamics at Red Bull racing so I expect his impact will only grow through the season. They have  a good car that can be developed so k expect them to slot into third best team this year. Both Mercedes and Ferrari seem to be struggling with internal issues .

dodnt gladly make a big leap up the field u need the virtual safety car?
