Uni Posted September 3, 2014 Share just be careful, you may end up like this due to all the pumping ps, what are you doing to keep the water warm? big guns would be a good change from my wimpy upper body strength i'm not too concerned with temperature at this point. usually in summer we don't even need to run the heaters - the ambient temperature is warm enough - and it's a pretty large tank so it retains heat well. we're not feeding them atm - as without filtration don't need ammonia spikes - so if the power is back tonight as promised i think we'll be ok. otherwise we'll need to start doing some water changes the fish seem fine atm - the plants might suffer a bit with lack of light but nothing terminal - the snails though - they're suffering - big carnage last night and they're all making their way to the surface to try and get some air.
