Positive, just a little one though, but definitely a gaboon viper ( I was just reminded by walking 12 year old field guide that correct name is viper and not adder) <_<

I have a picture on phone of a big one visiting an office this week...will see if I can post via tapatalk

My walking talking 12 year old field guide said I should rather stop identifying snakes for you guys, that is not a gaboon viper at all...see picture to follow of one, my bad, ag sorry

I think (really big guess here) that the picture could be of a copperhead? Someone please confirm before the walking talking 12 year old field guide gets 4 in for the day

You are in for a treat when the 12 year old field guide gets to 16, and starts correcting you about EVERYTHING, completely negating the need for the internet.

And I still can't see squat, except for sticks and leaves.

And I'm normally quite good at this stuff.

Bitus gabonica rhinoceros - Gaboon Adder only found in Africa.  Not in the States but the Yanks call anything with a horn a viper.
Highest venom yield out of any snake in Africa.
East African version does not have the horn - very rare.
