Not the same. Easton is going from 31.8 to 35 diameter on their bigger bars / stems. Stem just happens to be 35mm long at the moment. Cash in on a bit of marketing. They'll add a 50mm model soon enough.

aaah gotcha!

Wow, with standard steerer and standard bars the 35mm stem only allows 4.82mm between steerer and bars.

With those 35mm bars that then becomes 3.22mm.

And if they make a 35mm length, 35mm bar diameter and 1.5" steerer version... the space then becomes 1.6mm  that's cutting it rather fine!

Anyone know where this is?

There is a stretch of track on the escarpment on the western side (about 30km away) of Sutherland that looks a bit like this (but not the same) . If you stay at the Skurweberg 4*4 resort and then cycle up the hill (big climb) behind the resort there is a fantastic track that runs along the top of the escarpment. There is also a hectic jeep track in the forground of this picture that drops down the escarpment losing 800+ meters quickly.

You can see the Ouberg Pass in the distance in the attached picture. Not to hard going down, but a loooong grind coming up.

Nice paragliding on occasion as well, although the conditions can get a bit strong quickly.
