Update on Marussia crash....engineers reckons it could have been the anti-stall device that kicked in whilst the car was in 1st gear, it kicks the revs up to 50% when it senses a stall. The driver is supposed to shift to neutral to stop it from happening.

Edit: my 2 doggies normally pin me to the ground and sniff like they will consume me with their nostrils whenever I touch any other animal :P

Hope she is OK...was wondering a few weeks ago when we will see the first female F1 driver. It was her first time driving the car, and it happened on the installation lap.

Shirely she is not the first. It's been done unsuccessfully before if I can remember...

sonic boom kicking arse

That happened to us while doing national service... Standing outside the Mess at Hoedspruit Airforce Base queueing for lunch. Some chop did it almost above us (Not that low though...). No broken windows but almost a few soiled overalls!! Sounded like an explosion... There were a whole lot of people lying flat on their stomachs (Including some red faced PTi's)

Five or six women, from memory, have driven F1 - our own Desiree Wilson even won a non-championship F1 race back in 1980.
