Friend of mine had the Kawa KR the same time I had my RZ350YPVS. No way could the KR stick with me, even after he had it ported and new expansion boxes fitted. Was a very sweet handler though, and a good looker to boot.

Yeah, but that was the RZ, the follow up from the RD (and the TOONED version thereof) so I'm not surprized.

Still, the KR was an awesome piece of kit. With me on it (60kg at the time) it thrashed all manner of 4 stroke 400's (kawa ZXR400RR / RVF400 / GRXR 400 etc) And I had a LOOOOAD of fun on it. Even though it was my mate's.

Same. Piss easy, actually. Looking for patterns and the breaks in the "force"

Took me about a second. But then again the force resonates in me...and the fact that a large part of my work is analyzing numbers...

Took me about the same. Of course, the first time was a little longer

LOL

I've seen many South African versions of this in my youth including the car battery on the carrier

I also had the 350 LC (or "Elsie" as I called her). She was done to the hilt, so it would not have been fair to compare with the KR, but it would have been close running standard against standard..

Must admit, had loads of fun on my buddy's KR.
