Hi, new here I like riding, looks like the right place to be. Oh I also like, gym, red meat, the cradle, b12 jabs and I think everyone that wears those bright green Salomon shoes look silly.

Hi everyone,

Used to pedal both road and off-road many years ago but got lazy after losing both my road bike and my mountain bike due to theft. A small print clause about the bikes being stored in a building not attached to our main house meant my claim was rejected so the cost of replacing both just totally demotivated me.

But one cannot stay away forever and I've finally decided that its time to get proactive again and managed to purchase a really nice 2nd hand bike here in the classifieds and am rearing to go!

Hi Everyone.....

Just wanna say hi. I'm a newbie at this so hope this is the right spot. I'm new to the whole cycling thing as I only got my road bike today and after my first ride the bug has bitten and hard....

Keen on making friends doing some group rides shortly.

Hey all

Newbie to cycling.

Did some bmxing back in the days and borrowed a friends road bike in my senior years patrolling the road between Montagu and Barrydale. After that I bought a very nice bright orange dual suspension Raleigh with the weight of a tank. After giveing it back 3 times within the first week I tried upgrading some parts and takeing of all the colourful stickers. Nothing worked so I swapped it for my brothers highfi(radio).

Then I bought myself a GT chucker jb and had some fun on it patrolling bainskloof for a few weeks then I tore my ACL ligaments playing rugby. Got it fixed and tore the other side surfing, stil not fixed.

Did some Mtb in between everything in zambia and fell inlove with it and moved up to zambia after all of it. Was borrowing n friends gt zaskar for some time and got overit useing someone elses bike. Well my chucker got stolen and thats when I decided I wanna take up mtb seriously and look for a bike. Ive been patrolling the mtb section daily for 3 months now and fell in love with alot of bikes and got my heart broken a few times to see them go.

Hopefully buying my first proper mtb soon and getting these legs strong again.

Im 1,81 and between 85 and 80kgs.

Could be 70kg right now because of a stupid muskito that kissed me and left me in bed.

Thank you and have a nice one.

Hi all,

Been a lurker for quite some time, browsing forums and classifieds, - time to get out.

I've been a keen cyclist for many years, cutting my mtb teeth back in the early 90's on a rigid (as in no sus at all "martel pyp") Kona Fire Mountain, racing at brake neck speed down Fort Klapperkop. Those were glorious days!  ^_^

Mtb'ing is my escape. Or drug. Gets me out there. Or high.  :whistling:

in the process of building a new steed. Soon ..., very soon ...
