Big H* Posted May 16, 2011 Author Posted May 16, 2011 Last time we had to drive all the way from Angola to Windhoek to vote, this time I am here recovering from the operation. Iam going to vote!
The_Break Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 I am going to vote ANC... ...out of power. My street lamp has been broken for 6 months with a promise it will be fixed "tomorro."
Lou Zealand Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Damn straight I will, I pay enough tax to exercise my right to vote!I pay the taxes but still no vote... unlike JFK I cannot claim 'burger' status. I am a "nie S.A. burger"
The expat cyclist Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Nope. Never have. Never will. But thanks for the day off!!!
Mojoman Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Going riding in the morning and by late afternoon I will go vote (normally very quiet by 5pm in Magalies, everyone out drinking by then!). Can't moan about the state of the country if you don't vote.
IanC Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Anyone that will not be voring should be locked up in the same room as Julius for a week.
Flowta Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 I received this in my email yesterday "Dear all I am working at a local polling station (overseeing vote counting). Please tell all your friends to DOUBLE CHECK their voting paper is STAMPED at the back otherwise their vote does not count. I counted at the last election and ALL votes with no stamp of the local polling station were not counted. That is the very first item on the list that we check and the votes without stamps at the back are discounted immediately. RegardsXXXXXXX"
rouxtjie Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 ......Can't moan about the state of the country if you don't vote.Tis true...Funny how its always those people that are the most opinionated Will try to get there early and get back home, with a baby its going to be a mission, but vote we will vote
IanC Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Rouxtjie take the baby with you. They normally let the people with babies go to the front of the key and it is 5 minutes in and out.
