Great Photo. Like the lightstream going up to the cableway, and the stars in the top right corner. Very cool. Sell It!

Dammit, Anton, you've just motivated me to take my wife's spare body - the 450d - out of retirement. She doesn't use it anymore as she hires a 6d to be a spare. I NEED to take more photos. My walls are screaming for them. It also helps that we've got good supplier arrangements for those ones that warrant a canvas.

In short - watch this space!

An alternative take on photography, involving some (a lot of) time, skill and post-processing... creating a hyperlapse video with a still camera.

My favourite would then one crossing the bridge with the motion blurred car lights below.

Cool video,

I have just been re-invigorated to pull out my trusty D-SLR and go try this. Cape Town has soooo many spots where this will work amazingly well.

Thanks

So, what you're waiting for...  :clap:

Remember to post your link here so we can see.

Before I can try something like this, I need to invest in:

  • Lightroom;
  • a new tripod (my old one is too dodgy to try use);
  • a corded remote timer (my 450D can only use IR or corded remotes);
  • ND filter;
  • time - probably the cheapest but not the easiest to come by.

Lekker, I'm out there like a bear.

I have all of the above except the ND filter, but I will make a plan with that.

I will definitely post my results. it might take some time, but I will show my result for sure
