Sigh, someone stole my cycling shirt from our locker room yesterday. I usually leave my cycling shorts and shirt out to dry out of sight from everyone.

There are guys that leave their jackets and pants hanging from the empty lockers. So why take a cycling shirt?

but its my own fault for leaving it out. TIA I guess.

Hands up if you commuted in the rain today!

I skipped the commutes. I have skipped a few... But still have a little bug in the gut.

Will have to commute from next week. I am turning into a huge ass hole...

Selfde hier... However, my "bug in the gut" has been diagnosed as "extreme laziness".

Still not on the bike.  The mental thing of that bitch in that BMW who tried to take me out on the sidewalk still haunts me.  It is just as if I lost all motivation to get back on the bike as it is rather important to stay in once piece.

And at this stage people just seems crazy as a old senile bat.

I really want to start commuting again. I stopped because I'm scared of the Fountains area - have to go through there on Christina de Wit from the CBD (which is fine) to Botha avenue.

Does anyone have any updates regarding the muggings in the area? Has it been sorted?

Next Thursday is State of the Nation Address and the end of Mining Indaba at CTICC.Streets all over CBD are going to be closed off, leading to the usual traffic chaos.Would like to suggest that anybody with a bike beats this 3 to 4 hours of chaos and takes relaxing cycle home.

A riding into a "slight" headwind in CT this morning made me a very hungry rider for the rest of the day!

I had the reverse of that. The wind is also always so much stronger in the afternoon, really makes the legs work hard. With these strong winds I really have to up the motivation to get on the bike  :) But over 400 km's this year already and still going strong.
