Training and upbringing would also play a part (how much time have they spent around other dogs, etc). I would introduce slowly and nip any k@k in the bud. Another thing there is a reason why female dogs are called bitches as they can be quite moody and the odd snap is possible even if the first introduction is a success. So just be careful.
