Until the day when she waits at the gate for me with a spare bone, then I am taking her home permanently. Bugger the consequences.

She would be better off with you. Good on you for caring. Sadly there are many people who don't deserve to have the pleasure of having pets. They'll just go and get another dog. :(

Thanks Tumbles and htone. Time flies. Hard to believe she's turning one in a month...

Even harder to believe Nugget is a couple of months from turning 8 already! Feels like... just yesterday we got him.

Tumbles, bring that namesake of yours - the lot of them will have a ball in the park around the corner! :w00t: (I'm not paying any transport costs!)

There was a program on Animal Planet last night on Ethiopian wolves, Panda, my husky, was fascinated and sat glued to the TV and was crying and howling. I think he actually took a fancy to the female wolf that was the star of the show.

Hmmm, you may be talking of two different dogs, in my mind both of them are steal-able! (Eye of the beer holder and all that...)

But you've got to get past some serious licking on behalf of Nugget first! And then there's my daughter... don't try and get between a 7 y/o and her dog!

Location...? That'll be either on HER chair (if you're talking Kahlua) or in front of the fireplace. (With their guard-human close in tow...)

If you know what is good for you.... Relocate now !

If you're gonna try a revere-Santa and sail down my chimney to try and relocate my dog... I'll give you a beer when you get down, you'll need it. We USE our fireplace! :P

Princess was an SPCA rescue case. She was pulling a cart in a township before she was 2 years old (Work horses start training at 5 years) and had been abused.

Again Before pictures and an After picture as she is to-day.

What a beautiful horse, I love riding horses, also have one that I rescued from abuse, he is an absolute bastard, and is so difficult to ride, because he was beaten previously, but luckily for him I'm the only one who's brave enough to ride him now, fat arse doesn't get ridden enough though. There's something about that battle of wills between a rider and a stubborn horse that I cannot resist.

I went outside to take a pic of the two Basotho Ponies I've got,but they wouldn't co-operate so I took this one instead.

We have 2 jack russells (cross a bit of pavement) - Nugget managed to catch a rat again yesterday, think we're going to rename her "The Exterminator"

That is not a rat, that is a Hulk-a-ratia!
