@Wonder Woman

You looked pretty good this morning

And for a MTBer you even greeted

What has worked for me is using 32Gi. When I used a high Gi carb drink on my Saturday & Sunday rides I was finished by lunch time. Using 32Gi I can make it to my normal bedtime and I'm riding at a higher intensity.

See you Tuesday :D

Thanks Indigo...I'm not bike specific, I even greet runners

Was good to see you this a.m.

I'm not really getting why you need supplements if you're "only" riding 6 hours a week? Or am I missing something?

Reminds me of that quote from Lance where he answered a question on what he's on - “This is my body. And I can do whatever I want to it. I can push it. Study it. Tweak it. Listen to it. Everybody wants to know what I'm on. What am I on? I'm on my bike busting my ass six hours a day. What are you on?”

That's my problem, I'm only riding 6 hours a week and the rest of the day I'm buggered????

I would think I should be able to do more...I'd love to ride early sunday but have no energy and need the sleep :(

Ha ha ha...now that would be perfect :).

In all honesty, Why can others do so much more than me??

I know a female who has 2 kids and manages to run in the morning and gym at night...what am I doing wrong?

Um, maybe they just built up their training program gradually over time ???

...messing with "Pro-Juice" could make you a "1-hit-wonder"

and we don't want to be "Wondering" what happened to that Woman...

WW you have been riding / racing bicycles for quite a long time ne, long enough to be classed as an experienced cyclist not so?

If so and provided you’re not training at max effort all the time then you should not be sukkeling with fatigue and muscle pain considering your current reported training regime.

Is that the only training you are doing, no other physical stressful stuff like gym, running?

IMO cycle training alone should not result in general muscle pain (maybe some during training but not post training), it’s a “soft” form of exercise.

Therefore I would conclude :) that:

a. You indeed have some medical condition that is negatively affecting your body and you should see an expert (Sports Docter).

OR

b. To compensate for your limited training time you constantly train at to high intensity level and your body does not like it, you should stop and smell the daisies or whatever flowers you see along the road more often.

So to start off i posted you a nice flower pic, take a deep breath now....

Would you mind asking her and pass on some tips please. There are a few of us who would like to know how to spend time with our kids AND get more time in the saddle.

Aaaaaaw, thanks for the flower

Yip, I've been a regular 6 day a week cyclist for 9 years now :)

Must be a. as I really have been building slow, even changed the people I train with to do precisely that :)
