Aussies deserved to win that...and that was a try at the end..ever so close though. I just don't understand subs for the sake of subbing when we have momentum. I think meyer has a subbing plan that he is incapable of deviating from...our momentum was lost with all those subs at 60 min

Get the ball, kick at back to the opposition, win it back again praying that the forwards don't give away a penalty, aaand, kick it back at them again, hoping their fullback don't run right through our backline.  And so on and so forth.

Yuck!  Even the Scots can defend against that gameplan.

Kick and pray indeed

And some slow old men in the mix

Pace, attacking the gaps and varying attacking style is the way to go.

Pffft

I dunno the video evidence was faaaaar from conclusive wrt the late try, no way you could see where the ball was grounded the first time and what happened after that...even the aussie commentators who we have to listen to on Sky TV kept very quite when they saw the replays, normally they would say "that's a try" or the aussie version of that...

But yes the boks played *** for the majority of the second half and gave away to much ball by kicking again

We lost and that's it, how do you lose from a 20-7 advantage.

By taking off your entire front row early and kicking the ball back to the opposition.

Taking the players off early might be seen as a long term strategy to preserve them for the world cup.

and haven't they learned by now that you don't kick up-and-unders against the Aussies. Those okes will win the high ball everytime. Aussie Rules anyone......?

Rhetorical question

Anyone see the craven week final? WP managed somehow to beat EP 95-0.

It's a final, so that means it's the two best teams?

It used to be the hosts and the best team (in terms of the style of play - not necessarily the best scoring team). Not sure if it's still like this. If it is, and EP were the best, then... *hangs head emoticon* Edited by geraldm24

You forgot League :whistling:

If we do the same against the AB's we won't be losing by four points after the final hooter! It'll be by a much bigger margin. Hopefully the Boks have learnt from this and it won't happen again.

O ok, Thanks. I'm sure its still like that because like you say if EP where in the top 2 going into the final then they all deserve to play for the boks in the second half of a certain game on Saturday........

Weird setup that.
