in the long run - if SARB (are they still called that) withdrew from Super Rugby and The Championship and pumped money into the Currie Cup for the next five years and make it a vibrant competitive competition we might stand a chance of competing with the AB's instead of trying to emulate their 'style'. the panel of experts on Super Rugby make me sick with suggestions we must try and play like the AB's to compete with them.

We not, AC has already stated that he is sticking to "SA Style" of kick, bump and grind. Not that it's doing us any good.

Is that a fact? Then why was there not one rolling maul on Saturday...I just get so despondent when I see players like Habana and Steyn. Why they there? Is there no concept of building towards a world cup.

I just don't get it..there are so many rugby minds in this country...but yet we still follow this approach...this is also just gameplay..quotas and politics dont even come into this equation

For sure, here's 2 quotes

Cape Town - New Springbok coach Allister Coetzee will not completely move away from the traditional style of play South Africans have grown accustomed to, but he does admit that the team must evolve in certain ways.

South Africa coach Allister Coetzee begins his first Rugby Championship campaign on Saturday knowing the Springboks must master their old strengths against Argentina before they can start to spread their wings.

South Africa have traditionally played a conservative style of rugby, relying on superior physical strength in the tackle and an accurate kicking game.

When will SA learn from the rulers of 15s rugby?

????

And get all unions to play a unified style of rugby

It is the coach's challenge but definitely a systemic barrier

The Leeutjies bring an attacking and Hurricanes style of play.

The traditional strength of the Bokkies is forward-based play.

GO BOKKIES ????????????????

And the "Transformation" of SA Rugby is almost complete.

From a World Class team, to a team of mediocre plonkers.

Razzmatazz must be beyond himself, the Rugby is now on the same level as the Soccer.

They will every so often win a game.......

what a load of bollocks. The last time SA had an accurate kicking game was when Naas played 10. And the myth of SA's superior physical strength? Does anybody (with a brain) actually believe that shite? Maybe 30 years ago before players started doing serious gym time.

Hey Toetie, I've got a brilliant game plan for you to try. Why don't you try and get as little possession as possible and then when you do get the ball you kick an up-an-under. Oh wait, the boks have been doing that for 10 fekking years and it doesn't fekking work.

Springbok coach my fekking arse.

Talking of quotas..............the coach is a "quota coach". What good did he do at WP? If you do not pick the best coach and the best players....................we stand no chance of winning............
