Me too. In the flesh

It goes to show that great minds think alike. Cippo and myself had the very same idea but had it done by 2 different people. Mine should be built next week sometime and you will see where the Record groupset that you sold me ended up! Pictures will be forced on anyone I come across for weeks afterwards.

A Colnago for a wet day. In anticipation of a wet summer and lots of rainy days , I spent an enjoyable morning with Andrea Bocelli , assembling an old Mega Master. A mix match of old 9 speed Campag parts paired with some Mavic Aksium wheels . Bright colours should hopefully be quite visible on a dull day.

Andrea Bocelli?

The ride quality of alu frames is so understated. Soon we will all be paying top prices for frames seen as cheap and nasty.

There have been several excellent aluminium frames that are light, stiff and give a fantastic ride. I predict that they will be treasured for it in the future.

He is blind?

Since age of 12.

But the he has the 2017 Colnago with the new self-ride  tech.

Keep perfect position in the peleton based on the leaders jersey position.

With ZIPP 454 N SW wheels.

Like these ones:

Colnago Dream (aluminium frame) with Geo paintwork / Mapei Team colours / Art Décor paintwork. Mark my words, buy those, the next generation will go gaga over them.

Finally, after about a year, the whole project is complete. I got it back on Tuesday and promise to start a thread called "DJRs Colnago porn" as soon as I can get some decent pictures done. I've been working literally all daylight hours. Meanwhile, here's a quick peek, sommer taken with the phone.
