Bru that thing is siiick!

Hand grinders are great but they so damn hard to hold steady in one hand and crank the handle in the other, this solves all the issues incl decent volume and good looks !

Can it do espresso size grinds all nice and fine and even?

Thought it was an old repurposed meat grinder but it looks like it's made for coffee and quite revered:

So I'm thinking of buying a super auto for the girlfriend to keep at her house. Not a nespresso.

Any suggestions guys? I'd be willing to spend like 4k.

Super autos are all pretty similar I find... Not great... Especially if you have been making your own good shots. Everything else sucks. They also probably cost almost double that unless you can find a goodish second hand one.

Absolutely. Came across that site when I was doing some research. The finest grind is incredibly fine and requires some high pressure to get the water through. There are always ones that come up on UK eBay and go for anything from £25 to £75. I saw one on Gumtree here that was old and rusted and had obviously been living in someone's garage for a million years.. That was selling for r800 here.. You just can't compare!

Not sure on price but the Saeco/Philips Syntia isn't bad.

Hi Guys

Still battling with water dripping out when pulling shots. I unscrewed the shower screen and cleaned the gasket as well. Please see attached pic - coffee grounds in water.

Will do another backflush and have another look.

re-try

Did a number of back flushes last night. Same problem.

there were less grounds in water afterwards though.

What happened before this pic was taken? was it after a shot or straight after the back flushes?
