Where will this get us, nowhere to be honest.

He is some insignificant little runt who seems to live a sheltered and miserable existence using media and social media to get the attention his parents and schoolmates never gave him.

Leave him be and let him rot.

Guys

I bet you this F^@6-nut is one of those FAT idiots looking for a parking RIGHT in front of the gym, with his BIG SUV...

He has no ambition and cannot partake in any kind of sport besides weekend armchair commenting on how wrong this and how bad that.

Also, he will be one of those guys with the whole family on quad bikes on the weekend.

Well, should I mention the noise and air-pollution from all of that...

Needless to say how that stuff up the karma of nature :)

  1. Cyclists have full right to the road
  2. The problem is the absence of law enforcement looking after all of us, yes all of us, motorists, taxi-drivers and cyclists included.

Poor sod, he thinks cycling started with the Armstrong era, well how misinformed the poor sod.

I really feel sorry for people with built up anger issues like that, probably not a happy chap at ALL, not at home, work or play.

Poor sod

That is my 5c

One of the things fires up motorists is guys cruising through the red lights with free abandon whilst they sit there waiting (me included) If you don't want to wait, dismount and jay walk if you must if all is clear, personally I mount the pavement and go the long way around through the green light.

But this rant is pathetic. This notion of nudging cyclist off the road is a very dangerous attitude and one that is prevalent. Way too many sanctimonious idiots in cars on the road!

I have commuted for 11 years now. There are some traffic lights I cannot afford to stay stopped at if I intend surviving the next stretch of road immediately after the light. It narrows, has no shoulder or cars look to make it into a double lane and I know I need to get through that before they get there, cos they simply wont leave any space for me or will completely disregard me.

What I have however found is that the best way to deal with motorists similar to the chop who wrote this article is to smile your best smile, indicate using hand signals what you intend doing and wave thanks when they show you the slightest of consideration.

Agreed. There are a handful like that which I encounter. All the rest, when red, I practise my track standing skills. What I have noticed, is that generally, when I stop at a red light, the cars behind me give me more room when the come past after the light goes green.

Wow! How ignorant are the people commenting on that article? I gave him my 2c worth but seems most agree with this moron. Sad actually.

The sales person at Westdene was rather surprised when I asked him to add a knuckleduster to my cart of cycling goodies the other day. When I read articles like this I know why I feel the need to :cursing:
