Well spotted. It's a WTF moment :P

On that point, CWC have these cool 'thinga ma bobs' that look like a water bottle that you can actually put stuff in and then, and then, you can put it, in your water bottle cage to hold stuff. They made of a soft, durable nylon so they not that plastic type. Even has a free zip on top to open and close.

Screwed up my dropout on my 2006 Scott Scale Carbon frame.

Had to replace the cassette, chain, derailleur etc. so just upgraded to 10 spd.

Nice! That was a good opportunity for an upgrade

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade (or bring out the tequila!)

Here is a dumb question: is your frame's dropout the replaceable type?

looking at your pictures, it looked like it was bonded to the frame and not screwed on...

Finally finished the build. Took me a while, but she rides great.

The saddle bag scrotum thingie hurts my eyes though.

Wasn't the replaceable type. But the nice guys at Scott decided to create one. You have to cut off the old one though and drill holes for the new one. Works 100%, did a ride this morning after the rebuild.

Just need to replace the cables now, waiting for order from CRC
