AlanD Posted April 7, 2015 Share Have you tried putting a 5mm odd spacer under the bottom bolt? tilts the nose of the bottle down and you might be lucky to have better fitment after that. Used to do it on my Scott and got just enough clearance...Have not tried that. Under the bottom bolt meaning the bolt sticks up a little and pushe don the bottlom of the water bottle? Try 1 then 2 then 3 washers and only on the lower bolt so that the top of the bottle cants down towards the frame rather than running parallel to it. Movement on your MTB is almost all up and down, not sideways, so the force of the bottle is up into the over arm that keeps the bottle in place. I haven't had one user tell me they've lost a bottle on the sideloader, despite the promise of a replacement camelbak bottle if they did. I quickly swapped them out for a cheapie pair of flats from LBS, but my AEST flats have FINALLY arrived from China. R400 on ebay, magnesium body and titanium axle - 78g each. The 530s and the cheapies were both 190g per pedal.
