Not reliable at all, best you get safety pins and pin it after sticking it!

my number for the 40kay on Sat was stick on and came off!

Is it acceptable to throw gel packets on the ground ? like in the Argus there is areas where you can ? Sorry for my ignorance blush.png

If you do, try do so at water points... otherwise they have to cover a whole 95km to clean up.... they do however ask that you put it in your jersey pocket :P

Started one year in CC (right at the back of that group) and the DD guys got a HUGE cheer as the attention moved across the road to them.

Have to settle for the smaller sized D group this time around

Windfinder reckons you don't have to worry too much about rain now. Going to be a warm day.

But the 20 - 30 km/h N wind still means:

- Fast tail wind start

- Head wind from city centre to N14 (try to do as little work as possible)

- Breaks should happen in the L/R cross wind along the N14-Summit rd stretch

- Then a fast tail wind from Blue Hills to the finish.

Thank God for that. My tongue is normally hanging out on my front wheel by Blue Hills. Being blown home won't hurt much at all...
