My 456c has gone SS. It was a battle getting it to the top of Helderberg. I think I've lost about 3kg from all my lungs I spat out on the way.

I'm the one with my head between my legs.

Does anyone perhaps have the sliding Swap-out dropouts living around? It looks t like they are our of stock on the disc side dropouts. Plan B is to take the dropouts off, draw up a set on CAD and then have it made locally, but that is a bit of unnecessary labour of they can still be had somewhere.

Yo PhilipV ... do you have ISG tabs, if so I would highly recommend this as a good SS solution....personally the best setup I have used other than with dedicated SS sliding dropouts.

Nein, but I would not have minded that option. Maybe I can put one of those bb spacer ISCG adaptors in there instead, or a BB mounted tensioner....

The 456 dates back to before ISCG, before Thru Axles, before 29er, before 27.5, , and before Longer!Slacker!Lower! Yet it fits a 27.5x2.4 tyre, has replacable dropouts, was built to accomodate forks up to 150mm, is as long as my Trance, has a very low stack height, is made out of plastic, and after I took a dremel to it, even has internal cable routing for a dropper seatpost.

The green is just not my favourite, I still want to murder it out, but first I want to sort out the drivetrain.

My summer season was older than yours, could go up to a 170mm fork, had isg mounts with 26er wheels and had a steel is real feel....biggest tyre I ran was a 2.5” fat Albert....because I never had anything bigger :P

Was a real good ride that bike.

Saw a social media post somewhere the other day from on one teasing a couple of new frames, need to find the link again!

Pricing on this realistic fellas? Not had too much interest... not in a rush either though so don't want to drop it just for the sake of it.

Owner doesn't even remember what he paid for it, but looking at similar ads for this bike posted here in the past I got to this price

Think the price would be fair if the toobless was sorted, as for the rest I think its a good price as you cannot build that bike for R18k new. Tyres/tubeless would be the only "negotiating" point I would take if I was an interested buyer.

Issues are as follow IMO:

1) Economy is crappy at the moment, less people buying toys;

2) Frame is a medium, we all know SS riders are big muscular men with beards that only ride L's;
